Dannevirke Women Bring Home Aschott Cup

We had a great day at Takapau GC for the Ashcott interclub final on Monday 7^th November. Congratulations to Dannevirke, who won convincingly against Te Pohue/Puketitiri with an 8 – 0 match win. Dannevirke last won this event back in 1999, and have had a strong year, also winning the Divsion 1 Pennants earlier in the season.

All the players thoroughly enjoyed the day and my thanks to Takapau GC and particularly Karen Robinson and Claire Tippett for organizing the day.
